Welcome to Locked On Yankees, your daily podcast covering the New York Yankees as part of the Locked On Podcast Network.

On today’s episode, we discuss the Yankees’ first three-game sweep of the season. It was also their first three-game losing streak of the year but we don’t think fans should panic. It was bound to happen eventually. We wonder why Aaron Boone didn’t go to Champman when the game was tied and lament Boone’s decision to go with Chasen Shreve in a high leverage spot. We also preview the Yankees’ series in Philadelphia which begins on Monday night when Jonathan Loiasaga makes his third start. He’ll be facing off against Vince Velasquez.

Larry is a longtime writer/editor with over a decade of experience writing about numerous sports for ESPN/SportsTicker, Metro New York Newspaper, AP and the Sports Xchange. Larry has followed the Yankees for media outlets since 2005 and watched them since the early 1990s when the team wasn't any good. Larry also works from time to time in television production on NBA broadcasts. When not writing, editing or podcasting or researching statistics, Larry can be found on social media @larryfleisher
