If the Yankees are going to make a trade that we can talk about on every episode of Locked On Yankees, this is going to be a very easy show to put together! Of course, Brian Cashman is not Jerry Dipoto, so that’s not going to happen, but hey, it’s been a busy and productive winter meetings so far for the Yankees’ general manager, with a little time still to go in Orlando before we move on to the rest of the offseason.

In this episode, you’ll find thoughts on the departure of Chase Headley (more extensively in a post written earlier), as well as of Bryan Mitchell, plus the arrival of Jabari Blash, the latest member of TEAM LARGE ADULT SONS after Giancarlo Stanton came on board.

Then, Charlotte Wilder of SB Nation is the first guest in Locked On Yankees history, and if you think it’s weird that the first guest is someone who wrote a piece called “These Yankees are likable and I still don’t like them,” well, the segment is called The Yankee Haters’ Ball.

Finally, it’s back to the hot stove, with thoughts on what moves might still be ahead for the Yankees, who have room to add payroll as well as room to add an infielder and a starting pitcher. Trades? Free agents? Standing pat? What should the Yankees do?

The next episode is scheduled for Friday. If you’ve got mailbag questions, send them on over to [email protected], or just tweet them to @LockedOnYankees, which you should be following anyway. And, hey, if you enjoy the show so far, go ahead and tell someone!
